Hi all,
From the knowledged one...something to stir the forum..
I have the names of all the coins that the Perth Mint will be releasing for 2010.
The list below mainly has the silver proofs getting released, but the full list is extensive..
152 coins in total, 20 for silver proof coins and "one never seen before" coin...I am still stunned
lol...
Beat you all!
So...Who wants to see the list? or should I just put it up here first on Silver Stackers for the world to see
I'll come back tonight and check the poll...Be on tonight if you want to see it!!

Hey Aust-Tech, I reckon I just found the list with a quick google search
, assuming that the list you have is for releases between now and July 2012 and is only the coins with legal tender status?
Thanks heaps for the heads up!
By the way, IMO there is nothing too exciting there. I would have said the bush babies coins might sell alright and be good for flipping (possibly), but 30,000 mintage?? Let's hope that's just a max they set when applying for the denomination status.

hobo-jo.....It's not the list you are referring to..These don't have mintage numbers yet
OK, OK, ....I couldn't resist myself
I didn't want to be intrude on the forum..but here goes
(Please note: These coins might change their description before release date)..(Don't blame me!)
There is one coin you will all be interested in..(even though this is a silver site)
The Perth Mint 1 Million Dollar, 1 Tonne Red Kangaroo Gold Coin <<-- Yes you read that correctly, and I wrote it correctly too, $1,000,000 and 1 Tonne wow...I'll have to sell heaps of coins on ebay if I want one of those.
Not sure of mintage numbers for this coin...I think it will be a Mint-to-Order product, meaning that they might not mint one unless someone places an order...
On with the list you all are screaming for...
First, there is the Etruria Coin or the Wedgewood coin (as is known on SS), just released at PM
Then should be 100 Years of RMC (Royal Military College), Duntroon, and;
100 Years of Australian Navy
There will be three (3) silver series or sets released this year:
The First will be a series on Australian States, Cities and Animals
ACT, Parliament House Gang-Gang Cockatoo
NSW, Sydney Opera House Koala
NT, Water, Plant life Crocodile
QLD, Cityscape, Beach Green Turtle
SA, Cathedral, Parkland Hairy Nosed Wombat
Tas, Cradle Mountain Tasmanian Devil
Vic, Tram, Flidners St Station Penguin
WA, Cityscape, Water, Swan Kangaroo
The Second will be a series, I think It will be called "Discover Australia: Explore Australia"
Greater Blue Mountains Tree Frog
Great Barrier Reef Green Turtle
Heard Is & McDonald Is Macaroni Penguins
Tasmanian Wilderness Quoll, Waterfall, Forest
Sharkbay Dugong, Seagrass, Ocean
The Third will be a series on the Shanghai World Expo 2010 in China
Shanghai World Expo 2010 Bamboo in Forest, Panda, Koala
Peng Peng, Expo Mascot Shanghai World Expo 2010 Aust. Pavilion
Cityscape, Sydney Shanghai World Expo 2010 Aust. Pavilion
Shanghai Expo Pavilion, Sky Shanghai World Expo 2010 Aust. Pavilion
Tiger Shanghai World Expo 2010 Aust. Pavilion
and finally somewhere near 17th October, 2010 will be Saint Mary (Mary of the Cross) Mackillop
There are other coins to be released..check the links!
Not bad eh!!
Kudos to me...I'll be back in 2011 for the next list!!

Some good investigating, that is a lot of stuff to consider and budget for. At least if there is something you want you have a heads up.
I think the St Mary coin may be a very popular one.

Cool thanks for for that.
Good to see some exciting news on the forums.
Wow that 1 tonne gold bullion coin! Wonder how much they want for that one.
And the year of the Rabbit coin. Wonder if it looks any good.

Just another thought... how the hell would you carry that 1 tonne coin?
You could just leave it in the middle of your living room as no one could carry it away.
Then again your living room floor probably woulndt be able to support its weight. haha

The 1 tonne Red Kangaroo coin is listed as "Exhibition" so it may not actually be available for purchase by anyone, even though it will still be legal tender.
Still, its good to see we'll take back the "biggest coin evarrr!" title from the Canadians. Perth Minth FTW!
