Looking at The Perth Mint invitation, under whats new they have

Great Battles - 5th release Gettysburg
Australian Sea Life - 2nd release Sea Dragon
Gilded tigers
and the show special is the 1966 Australian decimal pattern 20 cent silver proof

If it's for sale at then I'll be grabbing the Sea Dragon and a Gilded Tiger. I would have loved to have been able to collect the famous battles series but missed out on the first one and I'd rather not get bent over on the price of acquiring it (Numismatics for fun - Bullion FTW).

Meet went very well. Great to meet fellow Silver Stackers

Picked up a 1 ounce silver Roo (1994) and the 1/2 ounce Sea Dragon (can't wait for the Clown Fish / Nemo) at the show. Next time I'll be taking a stack more cash to grab decent offerings

I was on the Queensland Stamp and Coin Fair today, and look to me the perfect place to do the Brisbane meetings. Next one is on Feb.07 2009.
The fair is a monthly event at the Bridge Club 67 Ipswich Rd. Woolloongabba 8.00 am to 1.00pm.
We can set the meeting time 9.30am. I will be there anyway.

Another successful meeting.

Icehole got himself a good deal.

Projack was a few minutes late and missed out on getting Iceholes good deal.

I grabbed a Denarius from when Trajan was emperor but not for a "good" price but I'm happy all the same (well it is up to 1912 years old after all). But after humming and harring about it I grabbed a 1 oz Colour Tiger. Projack was the first to pick up on the COA number being a Chinese Lucky Number 0888. I'm real pleased with that and I think that it just may be a lotto win for me if I play my cards right. Fingers crossed on that.

One guy was selling Sea Life coins for $55. That's issue price!

Icehole held himself back from buying a 10oz Kooka for $400

Anyways if any other members are in SE Qld you might like to consider the next meeting. Projack is a wealth of knowledge

Fancy that - I'm going to be in Brisbane on Sunday. The only thing I've got that might be of interest to anybody is some silver 1oz and ¼oz Lydian bullion.

Just Projack and I, Crassus put in a no show.
Amazing how a couple of hours disappear when your chatting about silver.
Picked up the famous 5 oz tiger off Projack. ( love it when there's no postage )

Bargains, Big box of shiny 1966 50cent pieces $7.00 each.
Knew I didn't buy any from Aurora et luna for a reason.
The $400 2008 10 oz Kookaburra was still for sale.

No lionfish for $55 this time.

Now that Projack has gone over seas we need some new blood.
So have we got any more stackers in Brisbane?
