It will be interesting to see what sort of premium this coin brings on Aussie eBay:

I picked up a few of them in the summer of 2007. Luckily it coincided with a nice dip in the spot price and even with the $25 premium I only paid $750 Canadian at the time! This mintage is not that rare with over 30,000 but the 2008 is harder to find, I still need to find one for my stack. Sure the extra level of purity is just a gimmick more than anything but this is a very beautiful design compared to the regular maple leaf issue.
