I just got an email from Downies... haha Tax Office Coin. lol
A must-have for PNC fans – and for anyone hoping to keep their collection complete in top grade – the 2010 20c Australian Tax Office Centenary PNC will spark huge demand. One of the few PNC issues to have a predetermined limited edition, the race is on for those keen to own this official commemorative presentation.
A mere 15,000 of the 2010 20c ATO PNC will be issued – a tiny number given that most PNCs are issued in the tens of thousands. Pertinently, each of the very few limited edition PNC issues has sold out – and jumped in value.
Featuring an ATO Centenary stamp, this official PNC is crucial to serious decimal coin collectors. Although the one-year-only ATO 20c is to be issued for circulation, you will never secure it from change in the pristine Uncirculated quality seen here.

any comments??

Hmm, will that become the most defaced coin ever?
I'll give you an idea... a 20c piece put onto a rail line becomes flat as a pancake when a train runs over it.

Shouldn't that be 'Working All Australians'?

Press Release - New Coin to Mark Centenary Of Australian Tax Office [03/02/2010]
If you keep your eyes out you may know of these new releases way in advance...
5 Million Coins will be released into circulation....keep your eyes peeled for one...
This Press Release is from the Treasurer's Department back on 3rd February, 2010.
New Coin to Mark Centenary Of Australian Tax Office
The Royal Australian Mint will produce a circulating commemorative 20 cent coin to mark the Centenary of the Australian Taxation Office in 2010, the Assistant Treasurer, Senator Nick Sherry, announced today.
The Tax Office has launched its Centenary celebrations by outlining the course of special events across the year ahead, culminating in the ATO's 100th birthday on 11 November and celebrations on 12 November.
"The Tax Office's establishment in 1910 within Treasury as the Land Tax Office marked a significant development in the fledgling Federation," the Assistant Treasurer said.
"The Office was created by Prime Minister Andrew Fisher's reformist Labor government as a way of funding its important social policies such as the aged and invalid pensions."
"Of course, 11 November has since become Remembrance Day, and in deference to the fallen and to war veterans, the Tax Office will mark its 100th birthday on the following day, 12 November."
"The Mint and Tax Office both fall within my portfolio responsibilities as Assistant Treasurer and it's great to see the two agencies involved together in an event of national significance such as this."
About five million 20 cent pieces will be minted and released in the second half of the year.
On the coin will appear the phrase "Working for all Australians", with the remainder of the final design to be developed in consultation with Mint designers and the Tax Office.

More about the Girl Guides...
In 2010 Girl Guides Australia is celebrating ‘100 years of changing lives’. One hundred years of enabling girls and young women to grow into confident, self respecting, responsible community members - young women who are empowered to become the community leaders of tomorrow, who care about the environment and the people of their local and global communities, and are willing to go that extra mile to serve these communities. Girl Guides Australia is a volunteer led organisation, with volunteers operating at all levels, from the Chief Commissioner at the head of the organisation to the Leaders and Guide supporters at the local level.
In recognition of Guiding’s positive contribution to Australian society, in September 2009 the Prime Minister Kevin Rudd (now kicked out) and Minister for the Status for Women, Tanya Plibersek, announced that 2010 will be the Australian Year of the Girl Guide, in association with the organisation’s centenary.
