You know it's going to be pretty much fake when listed as auction on ebay for gold bars. Why would the seller take all of the risk of selling on eBay with price uncertainty from an auction when they can just walk to a dealer and get a much better price once you factor in ebay/paypal fees?

Thanks to "CounterfeitGoldie" SS member for pointing out all of these ebay gold scams for all us to see!

Letting everyone here know who may have missed it that CounterfeitGoldie's ebay gold scam threads here were first attacked and reported to be taken down by SS member "Gullintanni".   A relative newbie member here who thinks and acts like this is his/her own forum and has a habit of reporting people and their threads to be closed down for NO good reason. He has tried to do it to me as well as others too. I'm warning fellow SS members to not trust "Gullintanni". He will report you if he/she don't like what you posted, even if he don't like the subject matter like he tried to do with me.  And he/she had the gall to post this thread about this forum titled "The creeping tide of CENSORSHIP." - http://forums.silverstackers.com/topic- … rship.html

A reminder what happened in "CounterfeitGoldie" first ebay warning thread -

Thanks to GP for seeing "CounterfeitGoldie" warning threads didn't deserve to be closed.

This info is  to inform eBay buyers. Seems eBay will do nothing about counterfeit bars and eBay stock photo violations.
Imagine how much China produced counterfeits have been sold or are up for sale?

Sellers completed sales counterfeit Perth Mint and Pamp Suisse, gold
Sellers completed sales with only stock photos, and/or missing front and back bar and assay photo violations[ Listing should have been deleted and seller warned or suspended ]

List is for information only. None have been reported. I'll leave it up to buyers. Get your gold authenticated.

I have reported you as this should not be acceptable to name so many as frauds and your "information only" does not cut it.
You must spend a lot of time on ebay so how about you show us you AWESOME account so we can see you are 100% seller yourself.

If your claims are valid you may wish to file a police report prehaps with the agrieved party's participation.
I fully support PM ebay watchdogs but we have to be careful in taking on board information that could be subjective in nature.

Mate feedback on here means squat.
My point about the OP STANDS and you can not simply throw out vast claims of fraud and defame all these EBAY users.
If my report is not taken seriously and the OP removed i am quite happy to show you what happens in the REAL WORLD when false claims are thrown around.

REDBACK and CounterfeitGoldie, forget what this Gullintanni jerk says.  He/she tried to do the same thing in my BM thread. Three times he put a post in there saying my BM thread came up on Google searches (7th page) and that it puts this forum into a bad light and therefore my BM thread should be closed. Now he/she is demanding similar thing here.

Maybe time to start creating ebay accounts and winning the auctions so others don't get scammed. Make a reasonable request, eg I'm in your city and have an XRF machine and would like to the check the items before paying. They inevitably will decline so you leave bad feedback with a nice note as a warning to others.

I've been in contact with Perth Mint, ACCC[Australia], and Doug Davis' Office. They can only do so much.

I have contacted eBay U.S.A. numerous times, mostly on deaf ears.

Maybe a $10,000 bid on all items is in order.
I could care less about a suspension.

I brought this up before, this won't stop until the stake holders take it seriously, ie the mints and big dealers.

It literally would be only 1 hour a day per organisation if it was coordinated, ie one organisation does one day and other do different days.

And they report each one to police and eBay. For the wrongly accused they could offer a simple XRF test to be conducted.

But if they were really serious and want to kill counterfeit business over night, Perth mint being semi government could just offer an escrow service in partnership with eBay and payal, counterfeit gold gone over night. And later offer it for silver.

WTB 4 to 6 grams of pure gold. Don't care if it is coin, bar or granules. Near spot, suits anyone who has been tempted to open a certicard or just have some granules to make a ring

I went through, and reported each of his listings... maybe someone else did it too which is why they took it down.. fake bidding of a huge amount from a dummy account is a good idea too

Seller sold the [85] 1 ounce gold bars on eBay USA for $80,000+ on 02/01

It wil be interesting to see how the bars are received and feedback given.

They probably didn't sell as all the auctions only went for a day. My guess is that ebay took them down.

I'm looking at his completed sales not his feedback received. Big difference.

$80,000 worth of fake gold sold on Jan.31st.

No guessing. All items sold by borko_piot    did sell. Check his completed auctions. Nothing to do with feedback received.

I also looked at his completed auctions and they all only lasted about one day, so I've assumed that ebay pulled them.
