Deep dive introduction to ancient Greek coins

http://www.greekcoinvalues.com/introduction.php

Found the above website while researching some books on ancient coins - Oliver Hoover is part way through releasing an epic 13 volume series on Greek era ancient coinage, and this introduction is a good primer for the field for anyone interested - covers basic collecting, the technology used, the evolution of the coins themselves, the various issuing authorities, the different weight and denomination systems used, and lots more - certainly more than one can absorb in one reading. Covers how the coins developed through the Archaic, Classical and Hellenistic periods, and how the coinage styles spread further afield into the Middle East and Europe.

Haven't bought any of the books yet, although I did recently pick up the Sears volumes I and II.
