These have now been graded by NGC just waiting to get them back i will try to post pictures of them.
Copper came in at MS69RB and the Brass at MS69
Not 70's but still happy with them.:)

Re: Chinese medals - silver isn't the only composition!

If 69 is the best grade for these medals, then that's basically like having an MS68 graded Morgan silver dollar....it's as fine an example as it gets.

Re: Chinese medals - silver isn't the only composition!

Just uploaded a Xi Shi Medal Set video on youtube. Please bear with my amateurish efforts; will get better with time. I wish to acknowledge the generosity of mmissinglink who introduced me to this wonderful medal set. Thanks.

Re: Chinese medals - silver isn't the only composition!

hey keep on trying, when you post, you'll see 'youtube video'  Hit that button, and a string will show up.  You need to get the link from your youtube page, but you only need to piece in yellow, and you insert as seen in the picture and you should be good go.  all the best, and nice set

The trick is, I believe, follow what Barsenault had written but remove the "s" from the "https"...then it should work fine.

Thanks for the heads up Taz. There's only 1 set left...3 have sold already.

The prices on the Xi-Shi medals have certainly gone up....wow!
