The issues at Cryptsy sound nearly identical to when I tried to buy qrk on BTer recently. Confused the hell out of me.

I found BTer one of the easiest sites to use..The sign up is a breeze!

Yeah it's been good in the past. Were you able to buy qrk there ok? I'm a little peeved now that I didn't stick at it.

Wouldn't the fact that there are so few QRK markets cause issues if the market turned and everyone wanted to get out?

Yes signed up and had a parcel @.19 within minutes..Will wait until the 16th and sell into strength or I beleive this friday it lists on a popular Chinese platform..we'll see..was only profits from LTC & PPC so just a gamble wink

Nerves - I've gone big (somewhere between 5 & 100/risk I'm not used to). Had a beer mid way throughout the day to calm the nerves. Asking myself if it is worth the worry as one does///not coming up with solid answers, Lol.
I have strategy. I'll stick with it all going well.

Reminder to self: Buy Ag <$20 & Au <$1100 only           Bitcoin is not perfect, nor is it competing with perfect……don't cha know.

Good luck mate, I hope it works out for you!

It is tempting to go in big to win big time, but don't forget to not be too greedy!
I found that although it is really hard not to look at the charts all the time, it helps with the nerves to step away a bit smile

Good luck to you mate!!

Re: Who is having a punt on Quark coin?

Quark is set to overtake Peercoin in the next 2 weeks making it #3 on coinmarketcap, it's going to breakout when it goes above 0.00035 BTC sending it to US$0.50+ per coin, $100 million+ market cap.

Re: Who is having a punt on Quark coin?

Things are also accelerating on Cryptsy, from around 900 BTC being traded a few days ago to 1200 BTC today.
Come on Bill Still and Max Keiser, hawk this baby for us!

Re: Who is having a punt on Quark coin?

I did a decent swap of BTC into QRK while it was around 0.00019. Swapped enough back today to get my original BTC back, rest of the QRK are riding for free. Have set up some really aspirational swap trades and just sitting back now.  Hoping to double what I put in.

I got 30,000 of them just for fun. I seriously doubt they'll ever get any traction. But who knows?

You bought 30,000 of them.
Of course you think they're going to go higher.

30,000 QRK Doesn't equal many BTC

Re: Who is having a punt on Quark coin?

Well, if you think you're just throwing away money on QRK, just give me the equivalent BTC instead.
The end result would be the same, right?

No. Because I think QRK will still be worth something in a few months, whereas giving BTC to you will only leave me with a fond memory.

Re: Who is having a punt on Quark coin?

OK, look.
Just give me the QRK.
I'll do you a favour and take them off your hands, get rid of them for you.
Even though it's a hassle, I'll take all 30K that you have:

Re: Who is having a punt on Quark coin?

I see QRK has moved up to 4th biggest coin by market cap, overtaking Namecoin.

Very volatile today on Cryptsy - I took all my profits in BTC, ended up about 2 BTC ahead on an initial foray of 5 BTC.

Re: Who is having a punt on Quark coin?

Im currently mining Frozen - based on quark with no premine and faster confirmation times.

Still a very new coin so low difficulty.

Using my cpu to pool mine and a hd6870 to solo mine I got 9000 coins in 2 days and sold them for 0.33 bitcoin, not a bad profit smile

Re: Who is having a punt on Quark coin?

Quark is missing from Cryptsy - both the QRK/BTC and QRK/LTC markets are missing, and QRK has been removed from the balances page.

Didn't have any balance in there - but I know a few members do.

Could just be offline for maintenance... but still, it's flakey.

I just bailed on them, withdrew everything. Fantastic market in terms of breadth, but piss poor implementation.
