Re: SGB Request Pool.

Anyone else interested in silver bars? I would be interested in 10oz PM, 10oz 'stackers', 1kg PM or PAMPs.

Thanks!

Re: SGB Request Pool.

10 oz bars cool, i find that 1kg bars can go for very good prices in the public forum, but yep can do pamp 1kg.

Re: SGB Request Pool.

Not sure if this thread is for SGB members only??? I'm not a member yet but I plan to join on my 1st group buy.

My preference would be:
10oz bars
Cheap rounds (eg happy with Maples or Koalas),
10oz coins if the premium is low enough.

Maggie had some silver valcambis, killer premium on them, she may have more or do another order.
The premium on them is a bit crazy, i just couldn't justify it.
The dealers are not stocking them for a reason. Too expensive.
Maggie is the person to see tho, iam sure she will be able to help out.

No problems Ice, I hadn't really looked into prices so didn't realise.

I like the idea of Koalas for maximum ounces per $...

I should mention also the premium is not put on by Maggie, its Valcambis manufacturing cost. I think you pay for the name most of all!
Koalas can be done at a very good price especially if we do 300 to 500oz.

I'd be in for a group buy on this if it happens... but I'd probably only be looking at 10-20oz so it depends if you think you can make up the numbers.

I'd be interested in 10oz stacker bars or for a really really really good price PM 10oz (just so I can swap them for stacker's later).

1kg no.  PAMP, no.

Re: SGB Request Pool.

Yeah I'd be more about the 10oz personally, I'm pretty small time though and would most likely just grab the one.

Re: SGB Request Pool.

I know it sounds mundane, but if the opportunity arises to score lots of Round 1966 50's, (such as with oz bullion, or the what was it, 30 kg from W Davis a while ago) then I'd be very interested to take advantage of the bulk buying power of SGB.

But I accept 50's are not everyone's cuppa tea.

Just throwing it out there since this is the suggestion box for the group.

Re: SGB Request Pool.

I'm with XB.

50's carry a premium, but buying them in bulk from a dealer might make them almost spot/junk silver price?

Re: SGB Request Pool.

With the current drop in prices it would definitely be great to do another fractional gold bar Perth Mint buy.

Re: SGB Request Pool.

At around $25-26 you would see $300 bars at the dealers.

I think silver spot is possible to touch 27,50 uss. But you need the au go to again to 1,10 to have 25 au. But in this case is risk off and the two going together. If silver down more,  the au too.

Re: SGB Request Pool.

Didnt put gold sale thru yet, still waiting to hear from some people. Buying just 1oz will do nothing to reduce the price, i need to put it thru with at least 3oz.

Re: SGB Request Pool.

Basically how it works is each product has a target to hit for bulk prices.
For silver it is 100oz
Gold varies on product.
