Re: eBay bargains thread

the button does not work, please replace BB and Renovator together lol

please invite renovator's competitors in now.

yeah, for the items may not last that long on eBay, may be we can call this the e-switch thread button, aka self annihilating e button. hmm

Re: eBay bargains thread

I hope you don't mind, but I have started another thread...

"Best eBay bargains you have seen online"

Hopefully it will stay on track and be a useful resource for SS members.

So if you have been looking through ebay and find something that you dont want to bid on but that you think others might be interested, please feel free to add a post to the new page.

Buy it now .. or Timed Listings welcome

Is this new version meant to be 'buy it now' only or is it now any item ?

Saw this pop up when last advertised at over double the price (same seller): http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Australian-L … 1c24f7d346

No COA. Otherwise would have been tempted to give it a crack with credit card/Pay Pal protection.

Re: eBay bargains thread

Hell if a few of us threw in 1000 each, we could have that for 1450 an oz

Get GP to ultrasonic test it and make sure no hidden tungsten.

Flip it for spot .. Easy 150 each

Re: eBay bargains thread

Ebay is great for picking up small items but this is just silly.

If somebody has a 50oz gold bar to sell, why would they list it on ebay starting at 10% below spot ? - and also pay the ebay fees ?
Anybody who owns such a bar would definitely know where they could sell it for very close to spot.

If you did win it you'd either be sending somebody you don't know $70k and hoping you get the bar in the mail, or turning up to a F2F meeting with $70k cash in your pocket.
I'd be too sh*t scared to do either of those things.

My call is it's either stolen, fake or there is no actual bar at all.
