Norfed lovers stackers space

Mates, for those of you that have researched  norfed liberty dollars, you will know that some of these ( True money)  rounds, have become  extremely rare in their limited mintage run, & or confiscation by the US Feds.

Being a lover of these rounds, "Not allowed to call them currency $".....I wish to show you & future stackers , the rarer minted ones in this thread.

374_fine_print.jpg

I have in hand this stunning 5 oz $50 denomination  (snigger) coin. Mintage was to be 5000 units,  before a major bust by US (Nazi) agencies. It is estimated they stole most of this mintage.
Endangered species: rare

374_norfed_1.jpg

The 5oz come in $50, & $100 face value.
For future reference only: these sell for $500-$1000 USD

I've got a bunch of the older 1oz ones. They're actually really good quality coins, wouldn't wanna be putting them into circulation!

Re: Norfed lovers stackers space

Sure, the Sunshine Mint ones are good, plenty of errors made though, lots of mules produced and not always by accident I suspect.

The copper rounds from China though, they are pretty poor quality.  I have a few of the first Peace Dollars and I managed to get hold of one of the Ron Paul coppers which made its way to the UK and didn't get seized in the raid.

I was saving up for a Gold but that never happenned.

I have a few of the silver certificates as well, I guess that is why you need to stack physical!

I have one of the three coin sets from 2003 I think it was and a few of the 1 ounce rounds of various denominations.  Never picked up any of the 5oz rounds.

Re: Norfed lovers stackers space

I beg your pardon, the title says  "Norfed lovers stackers space" and that's me!  However if you want it to flow into the rarer physical stuff rather than stuff that norfed lovers stack then that is fine by me too!

The rarer silvers are a subgroup of Norfed rounds which are a subgroup of Silver rounds which are a subgroup of Silver Stacking and by the time you get that specialised there aren't too many takers but I would be glad to hear more about the rarer ones if you have any.

My three coin anniversary set is meant to be rare but the coins are all toning at the moment, not sure why they put them in capsules if it doesn't prevent that.

Re: Norfed lovers stackers space

I so got dibs on this one...

374_2008_peace_dollar_133_rare_hallmarked.jpg

2007 the (Nazi) feds seize all dies, metals!! (Gold & Silver)......

Of all the NORFED  Liberty dollars out there, the few 1/2 oz  4x hallmarked  peace dollars that escaped the raid of the Feds...would have to be the third rarest to own.

Word is a "Few".

Going price, if ya can find one! $550 US

Godless 1oz Liberty Dollar.

374_2000_godless.jpg

A SCARCE Variety.

Will the Nazi criminal Feds stoop to confiscate, this beautiful silver from their people? How rare or difficult to get will these pieces become....... If the Feds confirm this dictatorship activity.

For future reference only: these sell for $300- $900 USD

Re: Norfed lovers stackers space

No one knows how many of these Pewter! Liberty Dollar rounds were produced @ the sixth anniversary fair in 2004; My contact tells me very few! &  In his books "is" the second rarest round to be had in the liberty dollars. ( Be it that this round is not a true liberty dollar ) As it was not produced by them wink

After receiving this round today big_smile I noticed that the reverse was upside down to the obverse! ( Or should that be the other way round ) LOL. I have yet to contact him, to find out why? I shall post it when i get an answer..... "I have never seen this format in a token before."

Sorry pics don't do this coin justice, but them's the breaks.

374_norfed_mercury_.jpg374_norfed_mercury_2.jpg

For future reference: Ive only ever seen one go for $200 US

Edit: I can not get over how high the obverse mercury head rises off the base of this round!  neutral 1.5 to 2 mm  Absolutely amazing

There's two ways to orient the obverses and reverses of coins/medallions etc. One way is to match the images so if you flip fom left to right the images are right side up. The other is to flip from top to bottom and the images will be right side up. The first is called medallic orientation, the latter coin orientation.

See:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Coin_orientation

for info

Re: Norfed lovers stackers space

First these were done at the Grand Opening of the Liberty Dollar Store / Main office, Bernard had an event and had some friends bring a Srew Press during that event they rolled out the pewter then censored the blanks then minted them on site. I was working the Liberty Dollar table right next to them. I picked up around 20 of these pieces my personal guess is around 200 were made. I have some photo's of he event showing them doing each step.

Re: Norfed lovers stackers space

I am new at this I have a very rare piece to show. It is a copper mule piece to understand this. Beranrd did a 2007 Liberty Dollar copper  many RCO's griped about them being done in China He then did a 2008 Ron Paul then a 2008 Peace Dollar A mint in the U.S.A said he wanted to run a few samples for Bernard to see the quality of his minting
he took a 2009 Obverse used for Silver Naked Backs and Muled it with the Eagle Reverse. He then Minted 30 copper pieces

http://www.chooney.com/ebay/images/2009specimanobv.jpg

http://www.chooney.com/ebay/images/2009specimanrev.jpg

Now this piece has sold for 300 + the Highest price todate is  400.00 Since I acquired a tube from the former GM of the Liberty Dollar that means only 10 other exist.

I have 2 left and have stated on ebay once one sells the last one will go to 500.00

Picked some of these NORFED dollars while here in the US, love bullion stores here .... trays of lots of different types of generic rounds, coins, bars, and the odd banged-up 2000 Dragon  smile

Will put them up for sale when I get back.
