Spanish Shipwreck Silver

I had a chance to buy a piece of silver from a sunken Spanish galleon dated back to the 1600s. The guys at the coin store wanted $250 for it. Had a plaque and everything. What do you guys think? I wish that I took a picture.

Re: Spanish Shipwreck Silver

If it was worth any more than $250 the guy at the coin store would have been charging it.
As a talking point at the Dinner table~priceless
As an investment~price-less
