Demand has been shit hot for these. I think the launch will be in Sydney - details to follow when details are firmer.

Packaging is AWESOME.

Re: Great Scott! Back to the Future coins from the Perth Mint

There's a scene in the movie where Marty wants to tell Doc Brown about his impending assassination by Libyan terrorists. He can't tell him, as "no man should know too much about his own future". He ends up writing him a note that he can't open for 30 years.

doc_2.JPG

There are a bunch of people here on Silver Stackers that have had to keep this project secret for almost 2 years.

Fortunately, the wait is nearly over.

On the 21st of October 2015, the weather experiment's cover will be lifted, and we can all go Back to the Future.

Damn looks like Micheal J Fox was already afflicted with Parkinsons when he wrote that note...  hmm  although I think it was in the early 90s.

Re: Great Scott! Back to the Future coins from the Perth Mint

It's no coincidence that the The Walk also premiers on 21 October 2015.

Obviously the time continuum has been disrupted creating this temporal event sequence resulting in an alternate reality. Somewhere in the past the time line skewed into this tangent creating an alternate 2015.

Will they only be available from the Perth Mint website?
i.e. Do I have to have a PM account to order them and go through the whole ID rubbish?

I'm pretty sure those last two posts will be self-destructing when the admins see this.

Silver Stackers is unable to republish the images as part of the Embargo that ends on the 21st of October.

Until Then... Don't strain your eyes wink

Well, that completely ruined the surprise. I like the one in the Delorean toy.

Links removed.

Given that several members of SS are behind this coin release, we won't be hosting links to images that violate the embargo that is deliberately date specific to the movie.

Re: Great Scott! Back to the Future coins from the Perth Mint

For those of you in Sydney, you're probably going to be the first to see the real thing in the flesh.....

There will be some sort of shindig on the evening of the 26th at the Precious Metal Investment Symposium at the Four Seasons.

http://symposium.net.au/pmis2015/

Just so you know, this is the car I'm coming in... Come on down to say Hi. If not to me, to the car.... Wow! It's Awesome.

2.

an injunction from a government commerce agency to refuse freight for shipment, as in case of congestion or insufficient facilities.

3.

any restriction imposed upon commerce by edict.
