Don't take this personally but I do think that you are blinded by greed.
Which is more likely?
1) Street Vendor is selling a gold coin for below spot
2) Street Vendor is selling a counterfeit gold coin to a tourist who thinks that the Street Vendor doesn't know that he is selling a gold coin for below spot.
Paraphrased from JulieW "You've already bought all that you need" aka stop wasting money buying junk and toys

Mm this
blinded by greed
Not blinded but I understand
I'm not buying it unless I can get it conclusively tested
He wouldn't sell me the Guildens for a reasonable price
How much are the 2 1/2 Gs worth you reckon?

That coin looks cast. Detail is just wrong wrong wrong.
There are plenty of fake gold coins out there - don't waste your money.

I wouldn't take a risk for this coin, when the price is already $800.
