QE3
Question: now that Spain have received a band aid and when greece's economy collapses once and for all than America goes into its third stage of printing money THAN will gold and silver move upwards?
It's got me beat why the QE3 alone won't cause gold to move?
WHAT WILL CAUSE GOLD AND SILVER TO GO UP...?
Also I'm quessing that the ASX will be up on opening Monday ?

Monday is a public holiday isn't it?

Because it is a safe haven man..... Imagine being in Greece next week and losing ALL your life savings due to the default and devaluation of their present euro back to drachma..... What would you do if you knew you could keep your present wealth buy buying as much PM's as possible???
Like some PM bulls have been saying for years..... Buy NO MATTER what the price is during these cheap times because when this thing blows the top off the pressure cooker....And it will.... There will be NOTHING left.
And as more people realise there is no where else to go it will turn into a supply and demand thing where whoever is willing to pay the prices the suppliers are asking will get what they pay for.....
This is why physically 'holding' your purchases is very important.... It's yours forever until you really need it to survive..

But the US markets will be open Monday night so Tues ASX open should be a little clearer following the US price action

Public holiday everywhere except WA. ASX is closed.

Who uses IG markets here?
I'm looking through my account to find out the time i can trade Spain 35 index so i can have a bit of a punt, but there is no listing to show what time trading in that index starts Sydney time. My guess is 800am Madrid time but not 100% sure, want to get in at the start
